The Shiraz Festival of Arts was a cultural phenomenon in the 1960s and 1970s. For the fifth edition of the festival in 1971, Iannis Xenakis created a new multimedia spectacle: Polytope de Persépolis. In this video, we explore the composer’s first open-air spectacle.
